I believe in the importance of building community through participating in events in and outside of the ward. Take a look at some of the events I’ve been able to attend in support of various causes that are important to the City of Ottawa.
Its always nice to see such an amazing community come together at Harvest Moon. Thank you to the wonderful people that came by our tent to see us! Also a Special thanks to MP Andrew Leslie, Mayor Jim Watson and Councillor Tim Tierney for your presence and speeches!

On November 7th, I was very proud to recognize Denis Rouleau at the Crime Prevention Ottawa Community Safety Awards for his work establishing the Bradley Estates Neighbourhood Watch.
Ottawa 2017 Celebrations
My team is in the birthday spirit! Our City Hall office is decorated with Ottawa 2017 pageantry materials. Ward community associations received their pageantry kits during our Community leaders lunch. Kits included materials like banners, stickers, posters and temporary tattoos. If you would like similar materials for an upcoming event this year please email our office.
New Year’s Levee at the Shenkman
The east end elected officials kicked off the new year with our Annual New Year’s Levee at the Shenkman Arts Centre. This year the office of MP Andrew Leslie hosted the event. My team and I attended the event alongside Mayor Watson, Councillors Tierney and Monette and MPP Marie-France Lalonde. The weather was treacherous that night but residents still braved the roads to help us ring in the new year.
